Chinese Link (C-Link) was established on May 16th, 1996. We are one of the non-profit Chinese student clubs with
a long thriving history at the Simon Fraser University. Our aim is to provide a platform for students to exchange
knowledge, to help raise funds for other non-profit organizations, and to participate in volunteer work that helps build
up our community.
Every year, hundreds of students join this big family of ours. Apart from students that come from China, Hong Kong,
Taiwan, etc, we have members that are Chinese born Canadian as well. In the past, C-Link has hosted a vast variety of
networking activities and events, including get-togethers, workshops, and competitions that met the different needs
and interests of our valuable members. On top of that, we organize weekly sports activities, such as badminton, to
increase everyone’s chances of meeting new friends.
Chinese Link is different from other student clubs because we have a close working relationship with Fairchild TV.
Our members have the opportunities to participate in a variety of behind the scenes work such as Canadian Chinese
Song Writers Quest, New Talent Singing Contest, and the annual Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant.
Furthermore, C-Link provides our members with a broad number of shopping discounts. When a member shows their
C-Link membership card to a C-Link recognized Sponsor, they could enjoy discounts starting from ten percent off.
Our marketing department will continue to expand this network as more businesses and members benefit from this
unique exchange.
As an executive member, not only would you be given priority to certain volunteer opportunities but as you work
together as a group, you could also gain valuable leadership and organizational skills. Because we have faced many
problems together and finally solving our predicaments with the encouragement of each other, C-Link has been one
of the best places to find good friends.

華聯網(C-Link)成立於一九九六年五月十六日， 是西門菲沙大學其中一個歷史悠久的非牟利華人學生會。 本會宗旨是提供平台讓學生互相交流認識，為其他有需要的非牟利團體籌款及參與建設社區的義務工作。
每年有數百名學生加入我們這個大家庭。會員除了來自中港台等地外，亦有很多土生土長的華人青年。在過去的日子， 華聯網舉辦了不同種類的活動，包括聚會，工作坊，比賽等來迎合不同會員的需要及興趣。每週我們還舉行像羽毛球等定期運動讓大家有更多機會認識新朋友。
此外， 華聯網更為會員提供購物優惠。會員只要到指定的商鋪出示華聯網的會員証， 就能享有百分之十或更多的折扣優惠。而我們市場推廣部的幹事會繼續努力擴大這優惠網絡，讓更多的商戶及會員受惠。
跟別的學生會不同，我們跟新時代集團有緊密的合作關係，會員都有機會參與其綜藝節目的幕後工作如SQ 歌創比賽， 新秀歌唱比賽和華裔小姐競選等。
選擇成為我們華聯網的幹事，不單止能優先參加上述的義工機會， 亦可以透過與大家一起組織活動， 從而培養組織及領導才能。過去很多幹事因一起解決問題， 互相勉勵，從而在華聯網中找到最好的朋友。
